Commotion Films is a small, London-based studio dedicated to creating socially engaged, thoughtfully constructed documentary films and short videos. We work both independently and in collaboration with non-profit organisations and small businesses around the world to help provoke change and campaign for social justice.

Who We Are

Commotion Films was founded by Reuben Ross. Having completing degrees in Film Studies and Visual Anthropology, Reuben has explored how films can document and portray socio-cultural issues around the world. Combining his informed theoretical background with a creative approach, he ensures that Commotion Films produces unique, insightful content.
